I recently purchased a MaxiCheck Pro for my personal use at home.
I own 3 cars, ie, 2009 Honda CR-V 2.0L, 2006 Toyota Innova 2.0G & 2002 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8G.
I had tried using MaxiCheck Pro on all my cars plus a few others. I am facing issues (below) which need solutions.
1. Vehicle: 2009 Honda CRV model RE2, (Assembled in Malaysia)
I tried to calibrate the Steering Angle Sensor (TORQUE SENSOR LEARN) but not successful. The error message was "This option is not available for this vehicle". My CRV has EPS (electric power steering). See attached screenshots.
I had also tried the MaxiCheck Pro on two other CRVs (2011 & 2012) of my friends, the result were the same, ie, option not available.
Another problem, I tried to use OBDII menu to read many Live Data which is successful except the VIN. However, in the SAS menu, I can get the VIN from "ECU Information". I don't understand why OBDII cannot read the VIN.
2. (a) Vehicle: 2006 Toyota Innova 2.0G, (Assembled in Malaysia)
(b) Vehicle: 2002 Toyota Corolla 1.8G, (Assembled in Japan)
The MaxiCheck Pro cannot communicate with both cars in OBDII menu. It tries all the different communication protocols and in the end still not successful. However, it can communicate with the vehicles in the ABS/SRS menu. I can even cleared old fault codes in Corolla Altis.
I don't find the MaxiCheck Pro useful on my cars if these problems persists. Please help me.
